Oath of Discipline

OATH BY REFEREES/JUDGES

At the start of each official Gatka Championship, Gatka officials shall make promise to do refereeship and judgement fairly, judiciously and in transparent manner by observing and implementing all the rules, regulations and conditions of tournament and WGF/NGAI. One senior official from the host District/State/Country shall take the following oath at the opening ceremony on behalf of all Gatka officials. The chosen official shall hold a corner of the Gatka Federation/Gatka Association’s Flag while reading the oath loudly.

Oath : “In the name of all Referees, Judges and Officials, I swear that we will officiate and perform our pious duty in the ———-(name of tournament)—Gatka Tournament/Cup with complete impartiality, respecting and abiding by the rules which govern this tournament, in the true spirit of sportsmanship”.

OATH BY PLAYERS

At the start of each official Gatka tournament or championship, every Gatka player shall take oath and promise to play fairly, judiciously and in obeisance all of the rules, regulations and conditions of tournament as prescribed by the WGF/NGAI. One participant Gatkebaaz from the host District/State/country shall take oath at the opening ceremonies on behalf of all Gatka competitors. The chosen Gatka player shall hold a corner of the NGAI Flag while taking oath.

Oath : “In the name of all Gatka competitors, I promise and swear that we will take part in the ——————- Gatka tournament, respecting and abiding by all the commands, rules, regulations and conditions which govern this tournament. We commit ourselves to play this sport without doping and without drugs, and are desirous of participating in this event in the true spirit of sportsmanship and while upholding the standards of discipline, for the honour of our Nation and for the glory of Gatka sport”.
